Senior Vice President, BAY Public Relations

Marzi Daoust is the Managing Director & Founder of BAY Public Relations, an NYC-based boutique PR agency specializing in hospitality and lifestyle. A true PR veteran with more than a decade of experience in NYC and Boston, Marzi has successfully spearheaded countless major PR campaigns for a diverse range of clients across the globe.

Marzi wrapped up a 10-year career at national PR agency Regan Communications Group in 2014, having established herself as the company’s savvy, forward-thinking Director of Special Events and Entertainment PR. In this role, Marzi directed national PR campaigns and industry-leading events for a premier portfolio of clients including Mohegan Sun Casino–the Northeast’s largest gaming, dining, and entertainment venue; America’s first restaurant, Delmonico’s; and the Annual David Ortiz Celebrity Golf Classic hosted in Dominican Republic; and secured press coverage in the nation’s biggest outlets including The New York Times, USA Today, CBS Evening News, Rolling Stone, Food Network, Sports Illustrated, and more.

Having proven her talent, versatility, and unparalleled capacity for garnering meaningful media exposure, Daoust set out on a new entrepreneurial venture built on authenticity and passion—and in 2016, BAY (“Be About You”) Public Relations was born.

In her words, “when I decided to start my own firm, I asked myself two simple questions:  First, as a publicist, what makes me jump out of bed each morning?  Second, in building my own brand, how important is authenticity?  BAY PR is an agency that represents the concepts and businesses that we’re passionate about—and we selectively partner with clients we believe in.  Whether it’s publicizing a world-renowned restaurant or elevating the visibility of a startup, we pride ourselves in building strong client partnerships with the common goal of not only growing their business, but also creating something exciting.  An enthusiasm for working with creative, talented, and passionate people is what has driven BAY PR to be what it is today.”

Marzi’s extensive firsthand professional experience is further aided by a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Spanish from the University of Massachusetts, where she graduated summa cum laude.

BAY Public Relations Senior Vice President Sarah March is a 13-year PR veteran who built her career in the competitive agency arenas of Miami and NYC.
